Using Foxed

By creating an account or using Foxed, you agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use the service in compliance with applicable law. Foxed is not directed to children under 13.

Your content

You keep ownership of reviews, notes, collection descriptions, messages, posts, and other content you submit. You give Foxed permission to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate and improve the service and make it available according to the sharing choices and features you use.

Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive content, or content that contains malware or attempts to disrupt the service.

Friends, messages, and community features

Do not use friend requests, direct messages, topics, reactions, reviews, or reporting tools to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, deceive, or abuse anyone. Do not collect another person's information without permission or attempt to bypass blocks, moderation, or access controls. You can report abusive users or content as described on the Support page.

AI suggestions

Foxed's recommendations, match scores, summaries, and chat responses are generated with AI. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable for you. They are suggestions, not professional advice or guarantees. Use your own judgment before relying on them or purchasing a book.

Third-party content and links

Book information, cover images, purchase links, and promotional offers may come from third parties. Foxed does not control their content, availability, prices, terms, or privacy practices. Foxed may earn a commission from qualifying purchases or sign-ups through affiliate links.

Account action

We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the service or another person is at risk, or the action is needed to comply with law. Where appropriate, we may investigate reports before acting.

Service availability and disclaimer

Foxed may change, interrupt, or discontinue features. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact
